This is what I wore at the Close Up media briefing last Thursday. I knew that I wanted to wear a dress that night. Another thing I kept in mind was colors. Seeing that my outfits last year were mostly neutrals and on the safe side, I promised myself that I would incorporate more colors in my outfits this year.
Just recently, Tita Bel (the artisan behind Moonstone Designs) gave me this dress and I instantly fell in love with it. It’s so chic and casual plus the print is oh so cute! This is actually the second time I wore this. Given that there are hints of yellow in the dress, I’ve chosen a yellow bag and bracelet to go with it. Blue, green, orange and yellow - my ensemble is definitely bursting with colors!
Ta da!

Whee! I’m so giddy! I was finally able to create a lookbook that is magazine style. Isn’t it pretty? I’m one proud lady because I’m able to create this one from scratch. Well, thanks to the post processed photos by the lovely Jessa. Aside from that, the text and layout was done by yours truly. I can’t stop flipping the pages over and over. Haha! I know, I’m exaggerating but it’s just too cool. Don’t you think so too? ;D
So don’t ever ever ever forget to drop by Shop Dainty and My Cup of Tea’s Facebook pages THIS FRIDAY at 8pm. Only one piece per item so be sure to grab ‘em first!
P.S. It looks so much better if you view in full screen ;)

Kisty invited Me, Dianne and Cariza to Mcdonald’s Blogger Event on September 29, a day before their 30th year anniversary. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, Kisty was not able to make it but anyway, the three of us still went. There’s no reason to pass up the chance to meet Ronald McDonald himself.
Mcdonald’s Philippines simultaneously re-opened its Anniversary Stores Mcdonald’s Makati Cinema Square, Greenhills, North Avenue and Quezon Avenue on September 30. It was a great way to celebrate their three decades of great-tasting food and excellent service. We were fortunate enough to get familiar with the elements found in each store. They all have a different theme for a specific type of market. The signature red blade and white ribbon represents McDonald’s commitment to serving the community.
I myself have seen the transformation of the McDonald’s stores from their old traditional store layout to the more stylish and modern designs that we see now. The Makati Cinema Square branch has a neutral, architectural background with savvy graphics to give customers a contemporary dining experience. The Greenhills branch has a very playful design that highlights the customers – the important part of the restaurant. The neutral palette with a range of graphic overlays provides an environment to escape the busy urban streets which reflects the Quezon Ave branch. And last but not the least of the Anniversary Stores is the North Avenue branch which give the restaurant an urban edge.
