Yesterday, I was one of the fortunate moms who got a surprise from their little angel. It was in fact a sweet one. Literally! Sophia said she helped her grandma bake and decorate this little cake for me. Such a cutie pie! ♥

And because it’s better late than never.. Happy Mothers’ Day to all you fellow moms out there!

Sophie’s First Modeling Gig

Week 10

(1) Had lunch at The Pit (a food place near UST) with Cez and my block mates for the last as students. We’re already graduating and it’s so surreal! No more school foreverrrrrr! (2) I ordered their Shrimp Ala Pesto for only Php 130. Surprisingly, it was good! Plus it had 5 pieces of shrimps in it considering the price.

(3) I placed this note in our fridge. The following day, one of my brothers erased the word “don’t” just to make fun of me.

(4) Here’s cute baby Sophie wearing the ‘mask’ that Tito Kyle made for her. “Look mommy! I’m wearing a mask! Take a picture!”

(5) He heard Bar Dolci serves really good gelato so we ordered a small one just to try it out. I think we tasted around 5-6 flavors before we finally got to order. We had trouble choosing only just one. Good thing we were allowed to have two so we got Cheesecake and Dark Chocolate. Yummy!

Sophia Elise is a Valentine baby. She was born on February 14 and last month was her 3rd birthday. Aside from the fact that she was born on the day of the hearts, the doctor said that my womb was heart-shaped. I have no idea how or why it turned out to be that way. Talk about corny-ness overload, haha! Nonetheless, I love Sophie so much and she’s just the cutest and funniest little person that exists.

Her birthday celebration was nothing grand, just a small celebration with family. I could see that she enjoyed it a lot because she has been entertaining us non-stop. I got her three gifts: a wooden number puzzle board, a soft fish puzzle and a toy camera. Her expression was just priceless whenever she would receive a wrapped up gift. She would always go, “Wow! For me? Thank you Mommy!”, with a hug and kiss.

Oh oh! What do you think of her outfit? I dropped by the mall and saw this red Peter Pan collar top and gold silk skirt. I wasn’t planning on buying her a birthday outfit but it’s just so adorable. This baby is keeping up with the trend, haha!
