Good morning! How are you all this fine rainy morning? Usually I wait for a day or two to put up another blog post but I just couldn’t wait any longer to share with you these set of photos. This is what I wore when I spent one Sunday night with my friend Jecaloo, which happened to be her birthday as well!

A maxi dress always gives you an illusion of height and this my dears is necessary to us petite girls. Since it’s a tube maxi dress, I layered on a poncho-type top to prevent me from looking too casual. It was raining that night as well and I wasn’t even going to pretend that I was the least bit cold.

I would usually go with gold jewelry but since the lacing on my top is of silver, I opted for my accessories to be the same. You’d notice on my previous outfit posts that I’m really not one to over accessorize. I prefer minimal pieces just to slightly accentuate the outfit but not overpower it. In this case, dangling earrings and a classic watch is just right.

As for my shoes, I will always be a wedges and flats girl. I prefer comfort when it comes to dressing hence the choice. It also gives you additional height which is a major plus.
