Say hello and a happy birthday to one of my best friends, Jessica!
Today, she is one year older, one year wiser. To celebrate, she wanted to try out this restaurant called Borough which she heard serves delicious comfort food. So despite the unpleasant weather, off to Podium we went.
I called dibs on the couch because it’s so floral and comfy. Sorry Jecaloo!
Goodbye diet! Only my favorites deserve a close-up photo in this blog.
The Elvis, which is a a fried peanut butter and banana sandwich, served with coconut dulce de leche and sour cream. Although it’s easy to make on your own kitchen, it’s still delicious!
The Pasta Primavera was absolutely delicious! It’s a veggie pasta but give you the illusion of a creamy non-veggie flavor.
The Cheese-Injected Portobello Pita Pocket was also fine, but not really my type since it was too heavy for me. The Chocolate Chicken Wings on the other hand is simple weird. No chocolate taste at all. They should have called it Cinnamon Chicken Wings instead.
Afterwards, we headed to Bar Dolci to grab our dessert: Manhattan Cheesecake and Salted Caramel.
And as unbelievable as this may be, had our first taste of macaron.
