Remember my last day at Starbucks? Well, Bea and I had another reason to celebrate so we decided to dine at Maitre Chocolatier. We’ve been planning for weeks to eat at this place and it finally happened. She said I really really had to try it there because the food is great. In my head, anything incorporated with chocolate would definitely be yummy.

It would be my first time to eat here and I was thrilled.  In fact, I was too excited that I checked their menu online beforehand so I already had an idea on what to order. But first off, I’d like you to see the interior of the restaurant to entice you more. As if the chocolate isn’t enough reason.

Isn’t it a lovely place to have that Valentine’s dinner? ;) I have a feeling they’ll be packed on the day so be sure to make your reservations! They’re also open on February 13 (Sunday) for a special Valentine Eve treat.

They’re also selling loads of chocolates inside the store and chocolate bouquets!

Dark/Classic Chocolate Drink - I’m not sure which of this is of the two but you should definitely try this. It’s not as thick as I expected it to be (since I want my hot chocolate really really thick) but it’s good nonetheless.

Maki Salad - Like any other Maki Salad, there’s seaweed, crab sticks, and ripe mangoes. What makes this different is the Frey Blanc Chocolate on its dressing.

Nachos with Chocolate Meat Sauce Dip - Since nachos aren’t really my thing, I wasn’t amused with this one. I didn’t find it extraordinary except for the Lindt Dark Chocolate sauce.

Grilled Pork Chop in Dark Chocolate with White Chocolate Tartar Sauce - When I saw this on the menu, I thought, “Pork with chocolate? That’s crazy!” But it works!

Luinguine in Pesto Sauce with Parm-Crusted Chicken - I am biased with this dish because I am a pasta lover and pesto is one of my favorites. The chicken strips are also really good. Would you have guessed that the white sauce is made from chocolate? Frey Classique Blanc to be specific.

Fried White and Dark Chocolates - This one is also really good and a MUST try. They used Chocobloc Noir and Chocobloc Blanc chocolates. It’s chocolate and it’s fried! What’s not to like? ;)

Golden Euphoria - This one is divine! You HAVE to order this when you decide to eat here. It is very moist and chocolate-y, haha! Also known as the Ferrero Hazelnut Crunch Cake.

Say hello to the chocolate fans - Bea and me! Again, just to clear this up, we weren’t the only ones who ate. We came with two other friends, hence the number of orders ;)

This entry sure made me crave chocolate. Off to make my hot choco! Toodles!
