The love month has begun and I’m pretty sure you girls are already day dreaming about your perfect date. As for the guys, they’re probably sizing up their wallet to whip up the ultimate flawless date for their girl.

Imagine this, after your perfect little dinner or maybe even a movie, David Archuleta will sing for you and your partner with a grand firework display in the background. Guess what! Close Up has a new trick up their sleeve this year. If you loved their Lovapalooza kissing events then you definitely wouldn’t want to miss this one with your special someone. Last night at Cirkulo Restaurant, Close Up revealed their grandest and biggest Valentine’s event of the year – the “Close Up Pyropalooza”.

Sparks will literally fly with the grandest fireworks display from some of the world’s top pyro masters competing for top honors in the Close Up Pyromusical happening every Saturday, from February 11 to March 17 at the SM Mall of Asia.

Aside from the fireworks, Pyropalooza will set hearts aflutter with the performance of David Archuleta. Joining him in serenading you lovebirds are Zia Quizon, Indios, Never the Strangers, and a special appearance of real-life couple and online sensation of Jamich.

And is if what I’ve mentioned is not enough, there will also be fun booths and “kilig” activities designed to bring you and your Valentine even closer. Think of the old school high school fair wherein you’ll get stuck at a pseudo jail with handcuffs. Let’s see if that won’t get you close ;)

They showed us a really cute Valentine skit with these characters. I’ll share it with you guys once I see an uploaded version.

It’s like a photo booth but instead of a steady photo, you get a flipbook - a stack of images on paper that come to life when flipped, just like those little stick animations we used to draw as kids at the edges of our school books.
